Maintenance points of explosion-proof screw chillers
In many industrial production scenarios, explosion-proof screw chillers have become key equipment to ensure stable production operations due to their excellent refrigeration performance and reliable explosion-proof characteristics. However, to ensure that the unit is always in the best operating state and functions efficiently and safely, comprehensive and scientific maintenance work is essential.
Daily inspection
Appearance and connection parts : Check the appearance of the unit every day to see if the shell is damaged or deformed, whether the connections of the components are firm, and whether there are looseness or gaps in the explosion-proof seal. Any slight appearance abnormality may affect the explosion-proof performance of the unit and must be handled in time.
Operating parameter monitoring : Pay close attention to the unit's operating parameters, such as suction pressure, exhaust pressure, oil temperature, oil pressure, etc. The normal parameter range is a sign of efficient operation of the unit, and deviations from the standard value may indicate problems with internal components. For example, low suction pressure may be a refrigerant leak or filter blockage, which needs to be checked immediately.
Regular maintenance
Cleaning work
Condenser and evaporator : Clean the condenser and evaporator at regular intervals (usually 1-3 months, depending on the actual operating environment). Use professional cleaning agents to remove dirt and scale on the surface to ensure heat exchange efficiency. If the dirt accumulates seriously, the cooling effect will decrease and energy consumption will increase.
Air filter : The air filter needs to be replaced or cleaned regularly, usually once every 1-2 months. In dusty environments, the replacement frequency should be increased appropriately. A clean air filter can ensure that the air entering the unit is clean, reduce the wear of impurities on internal components, and ensure good heat dissipation.
Refrigerant system maintenance
Refrigerant leakage detection : refrigerant leakage detection should be carried out once a month, and a professional leak detector can be used. Refrigerant leakage not only affects the refrigeration effect, but also may cause safety hazards, especially in explosion-proof environments. Any leakage should not be ignored. Once a leak is found, it should be repaired and refrigerant should be added in time.
Refrigerant purity check : Check the refrigerant purity regularly (recommended every six months) to prevent impurities from mixing in and affecting the refrigeration performance. If the purity does not meet the standard, the refrigerant needs to be purified or replaced.
Lubrication system maintenance
Lubricant replacement : Lubricant should be replaced regularly according to the equipment manual, usually after 2000-3000 hours of operation. New lubricant can provide good lubrication for moving parts such as compressors, reduce wear and extend the service life of the unit.
Oil filter replacement : When replacing the lubricating oil, replace the oil filter at the same time to prevent impurities from entering the lubrication system and ensure the cleanliness of the lubricating oil.
Seasonal maintenance
Pre-startup maintenance : Before starting up each year, the unit is fully inspected and maintained. In addition to routine and regular maintenance items, the electrical system is checked, including the insulation performance of the explosion-proof motor and whether the wiring terminals are loose. At the same time, the control system is tested to ensure that each control element is working properly and the parameters are set accurately.
Maintenance after shutdown : When the unit is shut down seasonally, the water in the system should be drained to prevent ice from damaging the equipment in winter. The unit should be thoroughly cleaned, including the outer shell and internal components, and protective measures should be taken to prevent dust and debris from entering. In addition, some wearing parts can be preventively replaced to prepare for the next startup.
Professional maintenance
Regular inspection : Invite professional technicians to conduct an in-depth inspection of the unit every six months or one year. With professional tools and rich experience, technicians can find some potential problems, such as internal wear of the compressor, reduced valve sealing performance, etc., and repair or replace them in time.
Performance test : Regularly test the refrigeration performance of the unit, compare the initial performance parameters, and evaluate the operating status of the unit. If the performance drops significantly, it is necessary to analyze the cause in depth and take targeted maintenance measures, such as adjusting the operating parameters of the compressor, optimizing the system process, etc.
